Chris Brown on the same day his much anticipated album "F.A.M.E" released, visited Good Morning America, (we'll say by the direction of his publicist) and unfortunately became quickly angered once news reporter, Robin Roberts recanted Chris Brown's dark past when he allegedly battered then-girlfriend, Rihanna. As depicted in video footage, the blonde-haired musician became irritated and deliberately mad efforts to redirect the interview's focus on the release of his album. Can we express empathy towards Chris Brown for feeling the way he did?
ABSOLUTELY, we can empathize with him after over two years of remaining behind the scenes because of that horrible incident in February 2009. He wants to move on and accordingly, desires for the pulic to move on as well. Right? But the remaining question left unanswered is this : "Is it possible for the public to move on fromt hat incident and grant Chris Brown, another chance, when he currently displays no sign of significant change?" This question was only provoked after Chris Brown broke the window to his wardrobe room, causing shards of glass down onto Times Square!
BREAKING NEWS: According to recent reports from UsWeekly.com, Chris Brown will not be prosecuted for damages and in addition, his probation will not be endangered. The dude truely has 9 lives, and I'll conclude that a high force is on his side for real!
I guess this recent update totally depletes the powers of my previous argument. Will the public actively move on from this incident? Absolutely yes. GMA recognizes that Chris Brown is human and apparently, law enforcement does as well???
In any case, Life and Style Union is elated that the whole GMA "sha-bang" didn't turn into prison duty, or even worse, lack of album sales for Chris Brown. OR WILL IT???
p.s: We've decided to leave off with BasketBall Wives star, Evelyn Lozada, and her rant about Chris Brown.
Is it me or have you guys been trying to figure out where Beyonce has been since her debut of Sasha Fierce and the "I Am," world tour? She's been trying to reinvent herself yet once again, (nothing wrong with that), now expressing fervent desire to synthesize her own genre of music. With whom will her new ambitions manifest?
Why none other than Odd Future, a progressive music producer collective based out in Los Angeles. Lead man Frank Ocean posted on his blog earlier today this " "Not to brag but man, this is surreal. Like… she's [Beyonce] singing my songs. If time were to stop now, the past couple weeks would be near the top of the highlight reel for my short time on earth." Of course later on it was taken down. It has yet to be confirmed however if the studio sessions were for Beyonce's next album.
However, one can easily deduce from Beyonce's statement " I want more live instruments on my next album to create my own genre," that Frank Ocean may be WELL UP her alley, as he heavily utilizes intense sound effects and instruments within his production.
Nonetheless, I'm confident that we're all very elated to hear that she IS in fact grinding in the studio.
The former Destiny's Child singer has also been working with Diplo and Sleigh Bells in the studio recently. Her last album was 2008’s 'I Am... Sasha Fierce'
Distressing reports came in at 12:00am, election day, March 20th 2011, that hip-hop artist Wyclef Jean had been shot and was at a hospital seeking treatment.
News reports claim that Wyclef was passing through Delmas #65 in Port-au-Prince when a hail of gunfire was showered into the car. Jean was in the car with Busta Rhymes, Jimmy Rosemond and other members of his entourage. No other passengers in the vehicle were injured.
The injury was inflicted to Wyclef Jean’s right hand. The same hand that made him a star as a guitar playing revolutionary of hip-hop.
Haiti is set to vote in its presidential runoff on this day and this event only adds to the dramatic circumstances of the tiny island. On Saturday, the formerly exiled President Jean Bertrand Aristide returned to Haiti, stirring up much speculation ahead of the elections.
The world of hiphop mourns today as the passing of West Coast Rap legend Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, hits the radio, tv and internet outlets. Nate Dogg has had a tumultuous medical history of strokes, and on Tuesday afternoon, his battle finally came to an end at his home in Long Beach California. He leaves behind a legacy and a void in the hiphop genre that no other artist can fill. Having collaborated with such artists as Warren G, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent Ludacris and Pharoah Monche, to name a few, Nate Dogg has truely impacted the way in which music was delivered to and percieved by the masses. His smooth, baritone lyrical and rythmic delivery added a Cali-swag texture to musical ballads of the midwest, the south, all the way to the east coast. It took 41 years to cultivate an individual rich in talent, pride and distinguished influence. Check out the following tweets made by a few celebrities mourning the loss of Nate...Rest in Power Nate
Seems like the chocolato actor, Omar Epps blows off some steam @ wrong information re:him. The irritated Epps tweets the following; "Dear Wikipedia,
I am not nor have I ever been a member of Phi Beta Sigma or any other fraternity. Get your facts right!

Life and Style Union just got dibs on Khia's new blog, Motor Mouf, in which see apparently gives her perspective on life, music, art, supposedly the music industry in general and all the intricacies that comprise of it, in a rather blunt, uncensored fashion. Her first blog entry ( which is "Proudly Powered By Wordpress SMDH), talks about Nicki Minaj's new album Pink Friday, wait...backup- her first blog entry bashes the Barbie Doll's debut album, diming it " Trash, Straight Monday Morning Pickup!" The entry is titled as a review of the album but it doesn't give a review of the product in the least, rather ridicules Nicki Minaj's music artistry, making sly and unwarranted references to her prospective financial gain from album sales, in addition to slamming the rap star for her supposed numerous plastic surgeries. Khia also threatens Nicki , boldly stating that she needs to be shot on the spot. With all considered, one can quickly affirm that one-hit wonder Khia is completely out of her "cotton picking mind," (pun intended @ her blast off at ATL-based celebrity photographer Derek Blanks.)
First thing's first: Why is Khia bluffing when the first and the last hit she made was back in 2002?
Not knocking the song's success but honestly it's Nicki's time now. Since everyone is fully aware that Nicki Minaj is the only female rapper on the airwaves right now, we the public, are now being barraged with online diss records, "reviews," hate-r-aid emails, the works, all of which damn "It's Barbie B*&%$#s," for her talent and critical success. Seems like these queen rappers want her dead. Why? To eliminate competition? Because quite honestly, noone threatens to kill someone for producing horrible vocals on a record, and noone wants a rapper dead for pushing out a talent-less song. So what's the deal?
The way we see it Khia, if you're dormant in the music industry, why are you speaking negatively? Food for thought. Or maybe you're just enacting a publicity stunt like Lil Kim did. "Yall" hate Nicki so much but "yall" both sure are riding off her fame by opposing her. Think about it. The attention both artists have acrewed, are residual. Their records or "reviews," of Onika Miraj " as Khia boldly put it in her article, were listened to and read by people who already know Nicki Minaj, else the big hoopla over their output wouldnt be a big deal to begin with. Who syndicates information they are completely clueless about?
Anyway, Khia, we want you here on Life and Style Union, to voice your opinions of Pink Friday, constructively, and also to talk about your future plans in the music industry. You're so busy trying to figure out how much money Nicki is taking home after the money is distributed amongst her active business partners, but we all know you aint racking in "zilch." Money don't last forever, whether you're rich or poor, unless there's a steady source of income. Well, let's keep it clean, keep it clean. (Smizes)
Sidenote: Matel won't ever sue Nicki Minaj, it's called Cross-Promotions. She's getting paid for that ish. Yuh Digg!
hehe
Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga take their philanthropic initiatives seriously, and they are going to sign off of Facebook, Myspace and Twitter to prove it!
In recognition of December 1st, (World AIDS Day), Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga, joined by fellow celebrated icons Justin Timberlake and Usher have recently joined a new campaign called Digital Life Sacrifice on behalf of Alicia Keys' foundation Keep a Child Alive. The entertainers plan to sign off on all social media platforms like facebook and twitter, and wont sign back on until they reach $1 million.
In a phone interview from New York, Keys tells us " it's really important and super cool to use mediums that we naturally are on.
As advertising for the campaign, which also includes Jennifer Hudson, Ryan Seacrest, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Elijah Wood, Serena Williams, Janelle Monae and Keys' husband, Swizz Beatz have filmed "last tweet and testament" videos which capture them layign in coffins to signify their digital deaths. Pretty interesting to say the least right?
"It's so important to shock you to the point of waking up," Keys said. "It's not that people don't care or it's not that people don't want to do something, it's that they never thought of it quite like that."
The campaign, she said, puts the disease in perspective.
"This is such a direct and instantly emotional way and a little sarcastic, you know, of a way to get people to pay attention," said Keys, who has more than 2.6 million followers on Twitter. The foundation, which began in 2003, will accept donations through text messages and bar-code technology, which is featured in the charity's Buy Life campaign. Raised efforts support families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India."We're trying to sort of make the remark: Why do we care so much about the death of one celebrity as opposed to millions and millions of people dying in the place that we're all from?" said Leigh Blake, the president and co-founder of Keep a Child Alive."It's about love and respect and human dignity," she added.Keys said recruiting celebrities was difficult because of scheduling, but "once I got people on the phone and I was able to paint the concept for them, everybody was in." Not one person said no, Keys recalled."I have a feeling that Gaga is going to raise it all by herself," Blake said.
Lady Gaga has more than 7.2 million followers on Twitter, and nearly 24 million fans on Facebook."She's got a very, very mobilized fan base and that's beautiful to watch I think (and) she's able to draw their attention to these issues that are very important, you know, and that people follow it and act."
Keys is hoping more people — both famous folks and non-celebs — get involved once the new initiative launches: "It just doesn't have to be just because you're a celebrity or something like that. It can be anybody."
Keys, 29, married rapper-producer Swizz Beatz in July. The two had their first son, Egypt, last month. The Grammy winner said that though her life's getting busier, being a mother and wife makes her want to help others even more."As a human being, you deserve to have a chance at life," she said.

The retail industry made off like a fat bandit for this year's Black Friday fiasco and so did female, hiphop veteran, Lil Kim. SIKE! What was she thinking??? Don't know what this discussion is about yet?
Well, here's the dish. Lil Kim makes a weak comeback in response to Nicki Mianj's headliner "Roman's Revenge, off her premier album Pink Friday. Talk about weak, spontaneous and reactive. Lil Kim, truely stood for her name in its literal context, "little," for she was instantly deemed the smaller person in recording a diss record in the middle of her botox session at the clinic. Trust me, we all are aware that Lil Kim is the baddest in the game sans her presence, and she knows this too so why the need to respond to a rising star? She's the only female rapper on the airwaves right now, and we at Life and Style Union love that. With lyrics like "It’ll be a murder scene, I’m turning Pink Friday to ‘Friday the 13th. I hate you Lil’ Kim clone/clown, all this buffonery, the sh– stops now … We all know your last name is what got you your job, you’s a put together gimmick, something like a collage," detracts from the overall splendor and critical acclaim of Lil Kim.
Nicki Minaj did not once threaten whoever she was speaking about in "Roman's Revenge," so why is the Queen B threatening to make her head red? Goodness gracious, well you listen to the track and tell us what you think.
Diss or Miss?
But we've all seen plastic surgery take a turn for the worst in the faces of our most fave celebs and socialites. Let's take Nene Leakes for example, the fashion and gossip powerhouse of Bravo's hit reality show Real Housewives of Atlanta . Her husband Greg didn't even show up to support his wife's facial project! Poor Nene. I love the aftermath, but I've been hearing some banter of random viewers, and they are not at all concurring with me on this one.

No to the nose job no to the short lace front no to her loud @ss, Nene is a bit much! Lol
These comments and many more have, in a way..forced me to think twice and really examine the medical artistry of Nene's nose, and I must say, I prefer her previous, natural asthetic. What do you guys think? OR should people just leave the woman alone because more than half of the veiwers of RHWOA are probably broke and don't have the finances to fix their "unlikeable parts" with plastic surgery ANYWAY! Hey...I'm just sayin....

US Weekly claims Beyonce's pregnancy to be true! The 29 year old singer phenom, who married hiphop legendary rapper Jay-Z back in 2008, is finally expecting a baby after much wildspread "Beyonce-Preggers" rumors since their marriage. An unkown source, close to Beyonce says "She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again… This is a gift from God and she’s so happy.” Life and Style Union tried reaching out to a representative for Beyonce, but to no avail, we have not reached a solid confirmation of her pregnancy. Whatever the situation is, we feel it's about time Beyonce lay merrily with the screamy creatures. Next to billions in dollars? Check. Husband? Check. God? Getting There.... Wouldn't she make a fantastic mom???
Im sure all of you green-hearted, overweighters anticipate the hour-glass seductress's fatgain huh!? lol Stay tuned.

Truth is, depite the fact Gabourey is a huge woman, she has managed to land a leading role yet for the second time!!
